Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. 13% minimum alcohol content. Flavour: full-bodied, dry, velvety, robust. Bouquet: characteristic and intense. Garnet red colour with orange sparkles. Minimum aging requirement: three years (two in barrel); five for the riserva. Traditional aging takes place in large oak barrels; modern aging (or “new school”) in small French toasted casks. Ideal with braised meat, game, cheese and truffles.
