“This is was our second tour with Marco and he has made both trips an amazing experience. Many ”wow locations” and off the beaten path destinations that take you away from the “touristy” spots and connect you with the real people and culture of the Italian regions. His tours are small (we had 6 people) and in both trips made amazing friends along the way.”

“In 2021 we were finally able to return to Italy and complete the tour we had planned for 2020 that was canceled. Marco delivered on all aspects of our visit. We arrived in Turin and met our guide for the walking tour of the city and the Egyptian museum. Our driver picked us up at the hotel the following morning for a day in the countryside of Monferrato and its wonderful wineries and finally dropped us at our hotel in Asti. We had a guide in Alessandria where my grandfather mustered into the Italian Army in WW1 and visited a local winery for dinner. The driver and guides that Marco arranged for us were superb. It was an unconventional trip not available from a large tour company with their canned tourist stops. Meet Piemonte has many regular tours but can do a great job if you have unique requirements.”

“We have been to Tuscany and other parts of Italy, but prefer to return to Piemonte every year with Meet Piemonte… Meet Piemonte provided our family with a custom itinerary that allowed us to travel on our own pace and schedule to visit places such as Alba, Asti, Portofino, Santa Margherita, Canelli, Serrallunga de Crea, Fontanetto Po, and Turin… We travel with Meet Piemonte because they are a knowledgeable, reliable, professional, and trustworthy company who have always provided us with the best local vendors…”

Monferrato’s Slow Food, Wine & Truffles

“Marco, one of Meet Piemonte‘s co-founders, coordinated the details of our visit in advance, and guided us through each excursion. He and his colleagues lead customized tours covering everything from wine-tastings, to cooking classes, truffle hunts, hiking and biking excursions, and visits to Piedmont’s rice fields. Having worked in the tourism industry for more than a decade, Marco speaks fluent English and also helped ensure that tour partners took into account my gluten intolerance.”
