Truffle Hunt & Food Tasting In The Woods
The Truffle Hunt and food tasting in the woods lasts approximately 2 hours and a half, on Sunday at 10:00am (occasionally on Saturday) from April to July and from September to November.
After the hunt, the hunter toasts with a glass of wine and a selection of traditional specialties such as salami, cheese, small appetizers or truffle condiments.

We had an amazing time truffle hunting with Victoria and Mia. Victoria was full of information and very personable and Mia was a great truffle hunter yet still a playful cute puppy. Mia found two truffles and left us in awe. It was fun to be a part of. And afterwards, the food and wine was just perfect and delicious! I highly recommend and would definitely ask for Victoria and Mia!

The Truffle Hunt and Food Tasting in the Woods takes place in truffle woods located near the town of Nizza Monferrato or near Canale d’Alba.
Considering that our hunts are not staged, we select those few truffle woods that survived the extensive vine cultivation that has badly affected the countryside around Alba.
The actual meeting place will be provided at the time of booking.
The Truffle Hunt and food tasting in the woods involves walking in the woods following the truffle hunter and the dog. Afterwards, the hunter toasts with a glass of wine and a selection of traditional food specialties of the region, surrounded by the quietness of the woods.
As you observe these patient and wise gestures, as well as the alchemy between the hunter and the dog, you can learn curious and informative notions about the trees, the soil composition and about the environment where truffles grow.
