Marco Scaglione - Meet Piemonte

Marco Scaglione

Co-founder; General Manager; Tour Operator

Former tour manager and tour guide, Marco has led tours in Italy, Iceland, and Switzerland since 2007 for some of the most prominent North American travel companies. He is an advocate for small food artisans and organic farms. When planning a tour, he focuses on the tour’s pace as a key factor for an enjoyable experience.

Alessandra Gallo - Meet Piemonte

Alessandra Gallo

Co-founder; Finance & Reservations

Alessandra’s engaging personality, combined with her University degree in Architecture, brought her to work for many years as a local tour guide in Piedmont. At Meet Piemonte, she covers the roles of Chief Finance Officer and Account Manager. She oversees the supplier’s vetting process and the daily operation of the Tour Operator.

This is our second tour with Marco and he has made both trips an amazing experience. Many wow locations” and off-the-beaten-path destinations took us away from the “touristy” spots and connected us with the real people and culture of the Italian regions. His groups are small and in both tours, we made amazing friends along the way.
