- Premium wine tastings in three renowned wineries
- 8-hour tour with a small group (up to 8 guests) from Alba
- Transport included
The Barolo & Barbaresco Wine Tour with a Winemaker begins in the town of Alba where you will be greeted on a luxury 8-seat van.
First, enjoy a scenic ride on the Langhe hills, on panoramic wine routes winding through quaint hamlets and medieval castles in the wine region of Alba.
Visit our winemaker’s home and its family-run cellars overlooking the hills of Piedmont. Enjoy a tasting of at least four premium wines among the highest appellations of the region.
Next, the winemaker takes you to the Barolo wine region to visit a renowned winery with award-winning wines. Step inside the aging room and partake on a generous wine tasting including the comparison of different types and vintages of Barolo wine, aged in oak.
Get the insight from our local winemaker as you stroll around one of the villages of the Langhe hills and take a break for lunch on your own. You can grab a quick bite in one of cozy trattoria suggested by the winemaker (25-30€ for a couple of courses) or wander around at your own pace.
The Barolo & Barbaresco Wine Tour with a Winemaker ends in the wine district of Barbaresco, located on the eastern side of Alba, where micro-climate and sun exposure are different than in the area of Barolo.
Enjoy the third wine tasting of the day, focusing on Barbaresco wine for a final understanding of the evolution of Nebbiolo grapes, before returning to your hotel.
Great day in Alba region

My girlfriend gave me the Barbaresco and Barolo wine tour as a gift for my 25th birthday. Huge success! We got to explore the most beautiful sights, learn about the land, and then taste it afterwards. Our guide, Marco, was a fantastic person. Full of knowledge and insight. After this experience, wine will never be the same again!
Wine region tour
Lynn B. – October 2019
My husband and I visited the wine region in Piedmont last September. We were traveling with another couple dear friends of ours, so we booked a private tour for the four of us.
Marco was very kind since the first email. We wanted to visit Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions but our hotel was actually closer to Asti in Canneli. So they set up the pick up at our hotel with a beautiful Mercedes van and the driver Roberto took us around. We visited three wineries, got some free time in Alba and overall we loved our day. Highly recommended!
